Agate is made up primarily of chalcedony and quartz and can include a wide range of colours. Agates are usually formed in volcanic and metamorphic rocks.
Lepidolite is the name of a rare lithium-rich mica mineral that is usually purple in color. Lepidolite can only form in geochemical environments where high concentrations of lithium are available for mineral formation.
Also known as Vulcan Jasper or African Bloodstone, Seftonite is a translucent greeny grey variety of Chalcedony featuring spots of Red Jasper.
