Caribbean Calcite is a combination of Neon Blue Calcite and Brown Aragonite. Calcite is a rock-forming mineral that is found throughout the world in sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks. At surface conditions, aragonite spontaneously turns into calcite over geologic time, but at higher pressures aragonite, the denser of the two, is the preferred structure.
