Lepidolite and Goldstone Owl Carvings

Lepidolite is the name of a rare lithium-rich mica mineral that is usually purple in colour. Lepidolite can only form in geochemical environments where high concentrations of lithium are available for mineral formation.

Goldstone is a man-made type of glittering glass made in a low-oxygen, reducing atmosphere. Its sparkle comes from tiny crystals of glittering metallic copper.
