Rough Smoky Quartz Points

Smoky Quartz is often found in large crystals of excellent transparency with few inclusions. The colour of smoky quartz is produced when natural radiation, emitted from the surrounding rock, activates colour centers around aluminum impurities within the crystalline quartz.
